May 28 celebration

On Saturday, the 12th of June 2010, the traditional football tournament, dedicated to the 92nd anniversary of the establishment of the first Armenian Republic, was held in the Armenian Convent's football field among the Homenetmen Jerusalem, Homenetmen Haifa and Homenetmen Yaffo football teams.

   The tournament started at 4pm with the football match between the senior teams of Homenetmen Jerusalem and Yaffo. The game ended with Jerusalem's victory with a score of 5-4.

   At around 5pm, the football match of the junior teams started with high spirits. The game, which was very competitive and tense, ended with Haifa's victory with a 3-2 score.

   At 6pm, the football match of the senior teams of Jerusalem and Haifa started. The game, which created much excitement beside the players and the fans ended with Jerusalem's victory with a 5-2 score.

Both victorious teams received their trophies following the games and the tournament was ended by Homenetmen's anthem Haratch Nahadag.
